About Valley Jazz Voices:

Founded in 2014 by a small group of singers from across the Pioneer Valley, Valley Jazz Voices (VJV) brings together singers and audiences who are passionate about jazz vocals. Directed by Jef lmsted, VJV performs a rich and diverse repertoire drawing from swing, bebop, cool, Brazilian and pop inspired jazz arrangements. VJV is accompanied by a professional jazz trio (piano, bass, drums) led by esteemed jazz pianist and arranger, Jim Argiro.

The only community jazz choir in the Valley, VJV welcomes singers of all ages and abilities, including seasoned professionals, aspiring students and dedicated amateurs. No audition is required, although prior experience reading music or singing in a choir is helpful.
